Nearly 250 sober folks, and their friends and family, joined in the celebration last May at Dead Horse Ranch State Park near the banks of central Arizona’s peaceful Verde River. If you were there, you know what we’re talkin’ about; if not, then mark your calendars NOW for 2011’s 7th Annual Verde Valley Roundup!
Set for May 13 – 15, plans are well underway, and we hope to make this our most successful and enjoyable Roundup to date!
Highlights include…
• featured speakers both evenings and Sunday morning
• meetings ‘round the campfire
• a Saturday night kick-up-your-heels dance
• raffles (win cash and cool stuff donated by your fellow AAs!)
• sunrise spiritual meetings both mornings (assuming you didn’t stay up way too late!)
• t-shirts with original artwork by a local member (you might win one!)
• Friday evening potluck (bring your favorite dish to share)
• Saturday night chicken dinner
• And of course…COFFEE! We’ll have water too; don’t want you to get yourselves dehydrated!
